There is this one man I met on his business trip to my country. I was getting over my ex which broke up with me 3 months prior and thought I was never going to get over the heart break. But once I met this one man (he's 37) and I'm 24....I was completely infatuated with him. We went to dinner the next day, and I was totally in "awe" with him and so happy that he got my mind off my ex. (I rarely like someone this much...he was a total gentleman). He was up front with my over dinner and told me that he was been separated from his wife from a year and they have a 7 year old son together. We talked about relationships and feelings (he was going through grief over the fact that his wife has cheated on him numerous of times and he wasn't sure whether he wanted to reconcile with her and give it another go like she insisted for their child. Anyway, the next day was his flight and we have been in contact for 3 months now talking back and forth and really enjoying each other's company. I think I may have fallen for him hard and he likes me a lot too....but realistically it's obvious we're not going to be together as he has a serious career in his country and a son who he adores. How do I just stop thinking about him altogether and start to date? My mind is just stuck with him and it doesn't help we talk everyday. And I never ask about whether or not they are making it work with his wife or not because clearly that is none of my business nor would that really matter. I'll just tell you from personal experience...I walk a trail that goes through a wooded area, and though it's on a military base, I still take my yellow lab. A guy was running the trail and stopped to try to talk to me, and my dog stepped between us, let out a low growl and let him know right quick that he was to back off. I feel much safer with my dog with me. It may not completely deter a determined attacker, but I think it makes you a less likely victim.

without putting it in the washer? I've been banned from using our washer (*sob), because the metal is scratching up the inside. I can use it for my brushes, saddle pad, etc, but i can't put his lead rope or girth or anything with metal in there. I'm most concerned about my girth..it's fleece, so it gets really dirty and needs to be washed often. but if i just attack it with a hose, it gets super heavy and i can't hold it up and hose it at the same time. also, my nylon halter needs washing, but i can't put that in the washer either...how do you wash your stuff? What's the best paint to use on a leather jacket?

When a project calls for paint rather than dye I always use Tandy Leather's Cova-Color, I have not found any better product. It stays stuck and flexible so no cracking or pealing off. It comes in a lot of colors and they can be mixed with no trouble to get what ever shade you want. The Cova is water based so if you goof you can wipe almost all of it off he leather with a damp cloth then start over on that spot. Once dry it is permanent as one of my shirts with the neon orange spot in front will show. One other thing, I find the best brush for the Cova is one with a "Taklon" bristle. American Painter is one brand of brush that is easy to find with the taklon bristle.

Is it more difficult to get into college as a transfer student, and how much does a late application hurt me?

I'm not in a community college - I go to a university. I'm a freshman, and I'm doing fine (3.4 GPA last semester, no judicial problems or anything.) However, the school is very expensive, and I'm not having a time great enough to pay what I am to go to college. I want to transfer to a state school (SUNY Stony Brook.) I did my application yesterday, the day after it was due. The policy says that late applications would be yzed on a "space-available" basis. I know that I would have easily gotten into the school going straight from high school with an application on time. Help with birds in chimney?

There are birds next to my fireplace on the right hand side in the chimney and my fireplace blocked me from accessing it. It is very difficult to take it out through my fireplace. My dogs don't get along with my new puppy...help!?

I have two chihuahua boys that get along great with all dogs, I mean ALL dogs. I've had the 3yr old since he was 8 weeks old, and since I have had him we have had a cat, and 3 other dogs stay with us- none he had an issue with. About a year ago, I adopted a new chihuahua, and since then, the two have been inseperable. Last night, I adopted a large breed dog, and my chi's are being SO mean to him. They bark and growl and even run up and bite his face. He's just a puppy, and wants to play, and I'm afraid if I let the "dogs do their thing" he will bite back and hurt them. Does anyone have suggestions? They have never EVER been aggressive to another dog, especially the older one, hes very submissive. I think that my younger, more fiesty, chihuahua is influencing him. Whatever the reason, it needs to stop! I would be heartbroken if I had to give up my new puppy, but also, I want to be able to bring new dogs into my house and this behavior is unacceptable. If they don't accept this pup, who will they?

Maplestory, how do i change the DEP settings?

ok so i just downloaded maplestory on laptop. i have windows vista. everytime i go on maplestory, it only lasts about 2 minutes...and then it exits and says something like "you have been disconnected from the login" or something like that. so i tried to change the DEP(data execution prevention) settings but im still stuck on the last step. when you add the ones you dont want DEP to work on...well lets just say i cant find maplestory? so can you please tell me how i find the maplestory file and all (if) the other files i should do as well? thanks so much!

Growing pains or trouble with heart?

Ok first off, I'm a 14 year boy, and I've having a strange throbbing pain in my around my heart. I asked to see a doctor, but my mom told me that my older sister has had these pains as well, and they were just growing pains, but earlier today while I was practicing my music (I'm a marching percussionist), I experienced an extremely painful feeling that started from my heart, and rippled around that side of my chest... My mother has cancer and is living with me. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with an 8 month old and an 8 year old children. There is no other room in the apartment. I am a student fulltime and work part time. My mother is enrolled with hospice. She has been getting worse for the last couple of months. She had 2 surgeries to remove some of the cancer in her liver to prolong her life but it seems to have made her worse. She can do for herself but she wont. I cant even get her to take a bath (please no ewww or make fun) I am the only child (25) and the only other family is my aunt who has a 4 bedroom house. She wont help me with finding my mom a better living enviornment. Would I be wrong to place her in an isted living facility? I want her to live with me, but I only have a small 2 bedroom and no money to move to a bigger place. I make sure she gets her meds but thats all I can do, having 2 young kids myself. Understanding one's gender identity?

Hi. I asked this question before but i got a lot of negative feedback, so let me try and rephrase it this time. I asked :"what is the biological difference between ed individuals and individuals" (now for some background info). I am a gay male teenager who has only recently( about 7 months ago) come into the self awareness of my ual orientation. I am comfortable with the fact that i am "different" then 95% of the planet, as i am primarily attracted to members of my own . But what i have been wondering recently if its possible i may be ed? After thinking about it i have realized that as a kid (and still), i have exhibited some very gender non-comforming behavior. I dressed in drag once or twice when i was little, and have recently started doing it again alone, for fun. I kissed a boy in kindergarten, hated competitive sports, the usual. I know that this type of behavior is typical among gay men and women (especially throughout childhood and adolescence). But what i was wondering (now getting back to my question), is what makes the difference between typical gay male/female gender non conforming attitudes as a kid, and a ed individual. why do some gay men and women change es while others (who exhibit the same gender non conforming attitudes as children AND adults,) dont?. is there really some biological difference btwn. the brain of a and a ual, or is this a matter of nurture?, choice? I've thought about it and come to the conclusion that im comfortable being somewhat "postgender". Living my life biologically as a man but accepting the fact that i dont really fit perfectly into any category. That im definitely not a "bro", but not one of the girls either in some respects. How to get semi-permenant colour out of hair?

Hey, as you can probably tell by my picture, I have pink streaks in blonde hair, I did this about a week ago and at first it looked great, however as it is just semi permenant some of it washes out everytime I wash my hair. Why do the guys seem to like me so much?

Okayy... I am a junior in high school, 17 y/o, and do NOT have a group of friends. I have fun with some girls at lunch and such, but I dont hang with girls in my spare time. I used to be considered "wierd" (the doctor thought i had aspergers BUT i have a "bad" case of OCD). I still am considered quirky. One guy, who playfully teases me all the time tears off mini pieces of notebook paper and throws them at me (A LOT of guys have done/do this). Guys tell me that i am "gorgeous" when i wear my hair straight, but ALMOST ALWAYS it is and in a ponytail. These boys INCLUDE the "popular crowd." People tell me i have beautiful eyes though (they are kinda a glacier greyish blue). I dont usually wear makeup at all (sometimes I wear mascara and OCCASIONALLY lip gloss). Unfortunatley, due to a medication that i take, i have broken out skin (i usually wear makeup to cover it, but it is still quite visible). I am 5'4 1/2 and was kind of chubby for a few months (due to a gluten intolerance), but am now a good weight (and was an okay weight during most of my high school years). I kind of have a bubble , and have a 32D bra size (i thought i was a 34C, but i was mistaken). Basically, i have an hourgl figure. On a day to day basis, i wear things like 7 for all mankind jeans, juicy couture jackets/tracksuits, basic black tshirts, and lots of PUMA sneakers. I am not athletic or anything, but i try REALLY hard in gym cl. lol. I laugh REALLY easily, and feel VERY comfortable with guys (a lot more comfortable than with girls). People tell me that i am funny and unusual, but many people (like my family and what few friends i have) tell me that i am strange. My 2001 2.0 L. 4WD 4 door 5 speed manual Chevy Tracker power steering is getting stiffer. Solutions? Cont'd!?

Last year (2008) I reported progressively stiffer power steering. I had the power steering fluid changed and it only improved the problem for a week. Then stiff steering again until spring/summer with warmer temperatures- then problem free. No problem this winter 2008/09 either until two weeks ago when it started getting stiffer again. Now I need to follow up on the possible power steering pump flow control valve problem suggested last year to me as well as investigating whether the rack and pinion steering needs to be replaced with its aged messed up power steering fluid. My parents do not accept me for who I am. Period. I want to become a fashion designer, fashion is my true love. I also plan to begin a fashion blog, as I also have a talent for writing. My mother says fashion designers "end up working in sweatshops," however my Dad likes my designs, and supports me. Also, I am pretty much stuck at home since I am 14, so I don't have a car or anything, and my parents don't go out much, since my Mom is a stay-at-home-mom and my Dad works from his home office. Ok so I met this guy 3 months ago. At some point within the 3 months we started hanging out more and more and txting and talking as if we were building a friendship that could lead to much more. Now all of a sudden cause she got dumped or whatever she comes running back to him and like a punk or matters of the heart or whatever he decides to make her his girlfriend. Which I find it hard to believe because he has admitted to me that long distance relationships very seldom work out under the condition if you and that person is strong willed. Now keep in mind she doesn't live in the same state as him and I so im uming hes one would can establish long distance relationships from scratch or whatever and clearly she doesn't seem strong willed to be running back after a year has elapsed once she realized she chose another guy over him and because it didn't work Im gonna see if he still likes me. So after I told him how I found out he tells me it wasn't expected? Like WTF? are you serious? How do you not expect to be in a relationship with someone? So after I gave him the best of luck speech Im uming he felt guilty that he misled me in some ways so the next day or so he tries to feel my attitude out and so I basically told him how I felt that Im not sure if we could just be friends. For me yet different for some it can be hard to just switch those feelings off so my best move is to move on. I probably would've respected that more as a friend and continued to be your friend. But for the simple fact I found out 24 hours ago is like a HELL NO to me.. The day he came home (yesterday) he looked anorexic but happy, then this morning I found him laying in the rain and mud and he tried to get up and fell over. We took him to the emergency vet and he began to have bloody diarrhea and they kept him and tried their best for a few hours but he bled to death. He has not gotten into any kind of poison and has always been healthy until now - and the timinig with respect to the Deter seems fishy. Any possibility it is related?

Why can't I lose weight?

I am 5'6" and 210 pounds. I have tried a variety of diets. The only one that worked at all was Atkins, but I only lost about 10 pounds then stopped losing (I am sure this was all water weight as well) I drink a lot of water. I don't eat anything with sugar. I don't eat junk food (candy, chips etc) I have never been a huge junk food eater. I would eat it ocasionally (ie maybe once a week) but I have completely cut it out and not missed it at all. I dont eat anything with artificial sweetners. I walk about an hour a night, 6 days a week. About 3 years ago I had my thyroid tested and the doctor said it was fine. I hate going to the doctor and haven't been since then because he always just says I am eating too much and being lazy, which is completely untrue. I am so frustrated. Any suggestions?

I have Windows 7 Ultimate. Since very recently an unknown device keeps popping up in the device manager every time I start Win. It's reported location is within the front USB root hub but I haven't changed there anything lately. The device status reports "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)". I can uninstall/disable it but it will get picked up again the next time I reboot. Honestly it all depends on the guy. Most guys tend to look at both. It's decent, but I think you could have gotten better for the money you spent. Also, Macs aren't that great. They look sleeker but that's all. They have no real "exclusive features" that you can't get on a Windows, like a good antivirus, you can just go buy one, and it's probably going to be cheaper than buying a Mac, that is incompatible with a majority of the programs on the market.

As I was losing weight I was eating 1200 cals and exercising everyday (1hr. cardio + weights every other day)..I lost about 10 lbs. and am now back at a healthy weight. I ume you've had your baby diagnosed with reflux...I'm not sure about congestion but I know my little one had a rattling sound when she breathed and appeard to be congested-ish...but I'd ask your babies pedi/specialist about that.
