Help with birds in chimney?

There are birds next to my fireplace on the right hand side in the chimney and my fireplace blocked me from accessing it. It is very difficult to take it out through my fireplace. They are newborn birdies and there are a couple of them that got stuck inside. I live in Richmond, VA. Are there any places that take birds out of the chimney or any other alternative options I could use? It would be greatly appreciate it. Thank you. :)
