Why do men have to be in charge of a relationship? It seems that women have to bend to theri needs. Why???

I was listening to the radio of the steve harvey show and this strong independent woman came on and they totaly criticized her for it. It seems that women try hard in a relationship overall and men dont. And when they dont bend to a man's need...Divorce. And she becomes a cold heartless b***h! Because of some problem of her not wanting to move somewhere b/c of her job. What is wrong with today's society?
