Latina women portrayed in the media?

If you ever turn on the tv you will notice Latina women are portrayed as something ual. Shes always in a ual scene in the movie. A ual dancer, a flirt, the miss caliente, hot wearing a red dress. And always married to a white man in the movies. Will do anything for money, or to get a green card. You always here, men talk, I wanna go to Puerto Rico, or DR, or Venezuela for the women out there. Latina women are basically looked as a symbol and the sad thing about it some of them are proud to be looked at that way. And the latino men are always the side dish. A scene as a er, drug dealer, or just like a cheap guy in the back around. As a latin guy, it bothers me to see Latina women like that in the media. I mean come on theres so much more to Latin women then that. And the real ones know it. What do you people think about this? and why do you think Latin women are portrayed like this?
